We EAT, SLEEP, RIDE, TALK, BREATH, DREAM, LIVE and LOVE MOTOCROSS!!!
Fly MX Park has been in business since 2005, it is a three quarter mile motocross facility featuring both dirt bikes and quads with a full range of classes from minis to seniors. The track is located on the beautiful Ohio River and many of the riders that have participated in events here have said it is the best prepared track and the most efficiently run of any track in the tri-state area. With it's many tight turns, rhythm sections, doubles, triples, table tops and big air jumps the track is exceptionally conducive to competitive side-by-side, handlebar-to-handlebar motocross action. . Fly MX Park is also the home of the best MX school in the tri-state area, “Big Guy’s MX School”.
We will be OPEN for practice on Sunday, July 27th. The weather report for Sunday is Mostly Sunny and 86 degrees with a 20% chance of rain.
Make sure to check out the new page of pictures!!
RACE 8 (Saturday) It was a very good day for a race; not too hot and no rain. However, it was really muddy in the first moto, we actually had a moat around the sign up and announcers tower that cleared up by the end of the second moto. But, boy did the track dry out nice for the second moto, the track condition was perfect in the late afternoon. One of our new racers this year in the D class, Bob Cramblett went down hard today over the six pack; hope he didn't get too badly hurt and will back racing again soon. It was good to see Terry Monroe back at Fly MX Park today, I think he gets faster every time I see him race. One of my favorite Quad racers was here again today; Richard Kyer has taken over first place in the standings in the vet class and has moved into second place in the quad amatuer class; still beating riders one-third his age. By the way it was his birthday yesterday, he is offically 62 years young now. Wyatt Barth put together two really good rides today in the 65cc and Mini-Junior Classes. He was pretty much un-stopable! He has a commanding lead in the points standings in the 65cc class and has moved in to the lead by a few points in the Mini-Junior class. The new Quad "College Boy" Class had more new riders in it today, if you are between the ages of 16 and 24, come and try your hand at the new class. For those of you that couldn't make it to the races today, you missed a good day and tomorrow promises to be even better! See you at the races!! The race results and point standings have been posted.
RACE 9 (Sunday) It was a great day for a race; not too hot and no rain. The track was in perfect condition for both motos. We had a very good turnout today. One of the most entertaining and competitive races today only had two bikes in the class, but the riders kept you on the edge of your seat until one rider wrecked. I am talking about the Super Mini class with Drew Green and Eli Aberegg. They must have swapped places five times in the first moto until Eli wrecked on the whoop section. Even the second moto was a nail-biter with Drew leading the race until the last lap when Eli passed him for the overall win. I hope we get to see these two in the same class again. It was good to see Anthony Thomas at the track today riding in the 65cc class, this kid is extremely fast! In fact they announced today that he qualified for Loretta Lynn's in the stock 65cc class. No Wonder!! I think they should check him for some bionic parts, nobody should be able to ride a stock 65cc bike that fast. I think he has a "on-off" switch for a throttle. They turn it "on" when the gate drops and "off" when he gets the checkered flag. It was so nice that Anthony made sure to thank Guy for his help; he was a graduate of "Big Guy's MX School" in the spring of this year!! I have to mention another race that was extremely exciting to watch today; it was the second moto of the Open B class; Kason Melchiori mounted a charge to try to take first place in the battle with Braden Skinner that was a "Classic"! Everybody around the track was whooping and hollering before the end of the race!! It was good to see Bob Cramblett at the track today, he hurt his shoulder yesterday in the D class. Ben Cunningham had to really work for his win today in the 50cc Race Bike class, Nicky Mustoe was relentless, he never got further away then about six inches from Ben's rear wheel both motos. The race results and point standings have been posted.
RACE 10 (Sunday) Stay tuned for the race story coming soon! The race results and point standings have been posted.

If you have noticed the "BGMX" label underneath the names of many of the riders in this year's CHAMPS Page, all of these riders graduated from BIG GUY'S MX School and went on to make it to the winner's circle. Riders (BGMX school graduates) in 17 different classes won this season. Just another benefit to training, riding, and racing at FLY MX PARK!! Come and take advantage of the combined 100+ years of racing experience that Guy Longwell, his sons, and the staff at FLY MX Park has to offer!!

RACE 18.
How sad, when last season ended!! It's hard to believe what an awesome season we had last year. The weather was excellent for every race but one, the track was in TEXT BOOK PERFECT condition, and the rider turnout was amazing! We can't thank everyone enough for all of your support in 2007.
Check out our new web page with pictures from the "Motocross des Nations" at Budds Creek. Our official "Fly MX Park" track photographer got some amazing pictures. We hope you enjoy them! I can only describe the race as "One Perfect Moment in Time". The "Men of Fly MX Park" did us proud, check out Cody, Dusty and Justin's results at the top of the new page. The USA once again proved to the world that they have the best Motocross Racers with a first place overall. France was second and Belgium came in third.
Remember, this season to be considered for the 2008 championship, you have to ride in 13 races at Fly MX Park. The explanation is at the bottom of the "Schedule" page for the 2008 requirements.
When you come to the races this season (2008), bring a portable radio with you. We are now broadcasting the day's event on an FM radio station (88.1Mhz).
